Repeat prescriptions will be issued at the doctor's discretion and are normally for patients on long-term treatment.
Local pharmacies provide a service to our patients; they will order your prescription for you, collect it and deliver it to your home. To arrange this simply call into your local pharmacy and they will organise this for you.
To order a prescription by telephone, please ring the repeat prescription telephone number between 10.30 and 15:30 Monday to Friday. Alternatively, requests may be made by post, via the internet or by posting a request in the box provided in the surgery reception area.
If you would like to order your prescription online you can do so by following the link to Systm Online at the top of this page.
We are unable to take orders or issue prescriptions at weekends, public holidays or out of normal surgery hours.
Please allow two working days before collection and make allowances for weekends and public holidays. Where possible give exact drug names when ordering.
Prescriptions can be collected from reception or can be posted to you if you provide a stamped, self-addressed envelope.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
