Appointments

Appointments for both doctors and the nursing team may be made by telephoning either 01226 707414 or 01226 712961 or by calling at the surgery. You may see any doctor in the practice, depending upon availability.

Routine appointments may be made well in advance (maximum two weeks), which will enable us to offer you an appointment at a time more suitable to your requirements. If you cannot keep an appointment, please inform us as soon as possible so that it may be given to someone else.

If you feel your problem may take some time please ask for a double appointment.

Early morning appointments are available to enable patients who are unable to come to surgery during normal hours to see a GP.

Patients arriving late for an appointment - Patients arriving more than 5 minutes late for their appointment will be asked if they are prepared to sit and wait to be seen at the end of the session, or if they would like to make an alternative appointment.  Patients arriving more than 9 minutes late will be told that they have missed their appointment and must make another appointment.

Telephone Consultations

If you think your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice please ask the receptionist and she will arrange this for you.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
